Masao has cropped short black/brown hair and long bangs that are usually dyed some sort of brown or blond. His eyes are hazel and he has sort of a piercing glare. He is about 5'5" and appears to look thin, but has a strong build. He is hardly seen with a smile on his face, making him seem somewhat intimidating.

Masao doesn't like to be pushed around and would prefer to be the slave driver. His patience often runs short and has a temper similar to that of his step-dad. He doesn't think things through and isn't the brightest in his class. He tends to lack common sense too.

He has a serious temper with a short fuse thats set to go off any moment. He takes most of his anger out on his boyfriend Kira. He tends to get violent mainly due to the abuse he is handed by his step-dad.

Growing up, Masao had always been close to his father. When he was six, though, his father was killed an a head on collision, Masao himself being greatly injured. Not long afterwards, his mother had remarried giving Masao a step-father. Almost immediately it was obvious that Masao was disliked by his new father, being called the "baggage" from the earlier marriage.
When Masao was around 11 years old, he began to sooth his anger at his step-dad with drugs supplied from a gang known for their drug dealings. Soon after, Masao was promoted into the gang, given the job as a seller.
At the early age of fourteen, Masao had became a heavy addict. He would frequently get into fights at school and attained the habit of cutting class. He also gained a reputation of sleeping around a lot.
It was around his fifteenth birthday when he began to question his feelings toward his childhood friend Kira. It wasn't long before the two became a couple. Masao slowed his consumption of drugs and stopped sleeping around when they began dating, but his happiness was short lived. Finding out about the boys relationship, Masao's step-dad revealed a new trait of his: homophobia.
When it came time to choose a high school, Masao thought it would be best to go to a different high school than Kira's. He hoped that if his step-father saw them apart, he would stop thrashing both Masao and Kira when he spotted them. Once at a different school than Kira, Masao started reverting back to his old habits. Now, Kira has talked Masao into transferring to Gakuin High, and Masao has finally agreed.
